Knowledge Clips

Since the COVID-19 pandemic this course became online. This is when Rap[id] started producing knowledge clips featuring Edwin.

These clips often distill lessons from concrete research experiences of myself or colleagues and often contain an element of storytelling. They help make the course a versatile, practical and enjoyable learning experience.

Research Adventures…

The wonder in new discoveries makes research so worthwhile. When I visited the famous engineering school of Roorkee in India, I was thrilled to discover that, in the old town, a booming sector of instrument makers and craftsmen had developed. They produced a wonderful range of technical instruments, clocks, compasses, theodolites, and other measurement devices of high quality. Hindus, Christians, Muslims and other groups were working side-by-side in small workshops, making the most incredible instruments.
